The NGO call the authorities to adopt the project of law that would enable the prosecution of the suspects of war crimes in civil courts, since they could be only in military courts up to now.
The Congolese legislator prepared a project of law of implementation of the Statute of Rome [...].In September 2005, the project of law has been submitted to the National Assembly for approval but nothing has been made since then, although, the project wa welcomed favorably by many, including the official governmental , its sponsor, Kinshasa and Ituri s' the organizations civil society organizations as well as several experts.
